I not understand much about hexadecimal code,whatever.....
Today (04/11/2016) i will show you how to change the texture of your game using pimple programs:
---->HexEditor (mine is Hex Workshop v6.8)
----->Easy2Convert BMP to DDS (if you dont find it, no problem, i send the link for you)
----->Paint (you have, trust me)
----->Dragon Unpacker 5 (again, if you dont find, ask to me the link)
For the example, i will use the game ratatouille of ps2
First you need open your folder that contain the game textures with Dragon Unpacker.
(If you dont know where is,scan all game folders,one by one with DragonUnpacker until you find them). Like below:
Choice the texture and extract to your desktop BUT WITHOUT CHANGE THE FORMAT!
(or simple, click in it, drag to your desktop, and drop)
Ok, now lets rename the archive name for "Texture1dds". Like Below:
Now we need extract again the same texture BUT
converted to a format which the PAINT can read. And let's rename for "Texture1bmp"
(.BMP is a good choice)

we need open the texture which don't was converted (Texture1dds) Like below:
Step 5:You open the archive with HexEditor right? Now go to the end of code, and see in which coordinates ends, like below
Step 6:Write down the coordinates of the end of the code
Step 7:Ok, we took a big step! Now, close your HexEditor, and open the texture converted (texture1bmp) with HexEditor again, and write the coordinates end. (is better do this way for dont make mistakes) Like below
Step 8:After this, close your HexHeditor. And open your converted texture (texture1bmp) on Paint. Like below
Step 9:Modify the way you want, but DONT change the size of image. Dont put nothing more big than the image space, or maybe you will have troubles later
