 Post subject: FFXII PC 3D models

hey there ! I have a large update regrading progress on ffxii PC (steam) models (.dae.phyre).

1. The first tool below, this tool can view all .dae.phyre files (even from FFX/FFX-2 remastered). You can view object on the "PMesh" instance.


The only down side is it can't export the object or view its animation data. However since I have it in source, it can be expanded upon to export.

2. The model compiler, I've managed to compile the first test model in game:

Even though this above can compile models, it's not in the most modder's user friendly fashion. Whether it stays CMD or in GUI, before a stable release.

I need assistance implementing the current compiler into a gui tool suitable for release for modders and further expanding PhyreExplorer to get it extract meshes/animations.

On animations. A modder can (currently) swap the ".ca" files (found in obj_finish\ folder) with other characters without crashes. This allows a character like Vaan to use Balthier's battle field animations, etc.

I made a tutorial further on models for modders here, as well as some additional notes regrading the models/animations and graphic formats.
