Okay, I tried out bfbs(by hcs) for the PS2/GC versions. Maybe I'll try the PC version too when I obtain it.
Now is there any signs of a tool/plugin/script focused on extracting splitted(.bf0/.bf1/.bf2) archives of the Xbox version of the game? Because as far as I know, I didn't find any evidence of this. Not even the tool could handle splitted archives.

I wrote a tool, it can open BGAE's bf file, and it can display whole maps, display models, and play animations.

It was one of my hobby-projects. It is not developed actively nowadays, because I have not enough time, and I reached, what I wanted.
BTW, still has lots of things missing: It does not handle sprites (eg. grass), you can not play cutscenes due missing scripting/collision/physics/etc.
Long story short: It's WIP, but I do not have time to continue :)

o yea
now that you mention how WIP your tool is i have a sally_bf.bms script in which it covers not only the .bf format you wrote your tool for, but also a few other Ubisoft games that use this format ever since this game existed
however i need some help
